Practice for Labor Before Labor Starts

Everyone tells you to prepare for birth.

Almost no one teaches you how to train for it.

This free 30-minute class helps you rehearse the breathing, movement, mindset, and coping techniques you'll rely on during labor—so they feel familiar before contractions ever begin.

✔ Practice coping with intensity before labor starts
✔ Learn to work with your body instead of against it
✔ Build confidence through practice—not just information
✔ BONUS: Support optimal fetal positioning while you're at it

You don’t rise to the level of your birth plan.
You fall back on what you’ve practiced.

Just like marathon runners don't prepare by reading books.

Musicians don't perform without rehearsing.

Athletes don't compete without training.

So why should birth be any different?

That’s why I created the Practice for Labor Starter Session

So you can become the kind of woman who can meet whatever birth brings.

I know what it's like to prepare for birth with information alone.

During my first birth, I spent months learning about labor but had never truly practiced coping with it. When contractions intensified, I panicked, requested an epidural that didn’t work, pushed for four hours, and carried significant emotional trauma into my next pregnancy.

During my second pregnancy, I approached birth differently. This time I trained.

I got certified in prenatal yoga and took my own classes, worked with a pelvic floor physical therapist, hired a doula, and consistently practiced the breathing, movement, pelvic floor relaxation, and coping strategies I now teach. My second birth was an unmedicated induction with minimal intervention, and this time only pushed for four contractions!

It’s not because my second birth had lighter contractions. If anything, the pitocin in my system made the contractions stronger. The difference wasn't that labor demanded less of me. The difference was that I had spent months preparing myself to meet that intensity. I understood my patterns. I knew how to return to my breath. I knew how to calm my nervous system instead of letting panic take over.

✨I can’t promise you the birth you’re hoping for—no one can. Birth is beautifully unpredictable and uncontrollable.
✨But I do believe you can become the kind of woman who meets whatever birth brings with greater confidence, resilience, and trust in yourself.
✨That's what practicing for labor is really about.
